Online Register Services

The Queensland Nursing Council’s (QNC's) Online Register Services provides various levels of access to information about licensed registered and enrolled nurses held on the register and roll.

Public and Employer Access

If you are a member of the public or employer you can view information about a nurse or midwife's current registration or enrolment status, any endorsements held by a nurse, and any conditions placed on a nurse or midwife's licence through the Public and Employer Access.  No password is necessary and no information can be altered in any way. Nurse Access

If you are a nurse who is registered or enrolled in Queensland you can view information about your (or another nurse's) current registration or enrolment status, any endorsements held by you (or another nurse), and any conditions placed on your (or another) nurse's licence through the Nurse Access. 

You can also renew your annual licence certificate online during the annual licence renewal period (1 April - 30 June).  To renew online you need your web password, which you will be issued with at the beginning of the licence renewal period.  This password and your contact details can be changed online.  Before accessing the register and roll click here to read the terms and conditions of use.

Nurse Regulatory Authorities Access

Nurse regulatory authorities within Australia and New Zealand can view information about a nurse's registration or enrolment in Queensland.  Authorities must use a password to access this information.  Information cannot be altered in any way.  Before accessing the register and roll click here to read the terms and conditions of use.

Please note: The online register and roll only displays information about nurses who hold a current licence to practice.  Applicants' names and status will not appear until their registration or enrolment is approved.  When a nurse or midwife's licence/endorsement is cancelled, their name will no longer be retrievable.
